An Idea Came With The Storm

An idea came during the crazy storm just now. Since my blog has many travel and lifestyle content, why didn’t I place a hotel search box on it as well?

Storm was so heavy I had to shut down the PC and I am not so well versed with the Drupal CMS. Needed to research on Google. Could not do it when lightning strikes were getting very rowdy.

Anyway, it is all calm now and the search box is up on the top of the right hand sidebar on every page on the blog. Just search when you read about a place or city you like. The search results open in a new tab, or page or window depending on how your browser is configured.

Of course; one cannot place the search box on any website. Fortunately, my blog is an approved affiliate partner site with its own unique CID or tracking ID.

The Village Porter – Kukup

On Kukup Island, there is a bellhop or porter service to move your luggage through the rickety pathways that connect the houses converted into hotels or homestay. I think many of the guests are group tourists from China when I was there.

Glastonbury And The English Countryside

Glastonbury And The English Countryside.

As I was saying, so much attention is focused on the Glastonbury Music Festival, few people know about the beautiful. peaceful rural English countryside of Somerset.
Many will go there in camper vans or pitch tents on the dedicated camping grounds.

There was a report saying first time goer VIP Johnny Depp will be pitching his own tent. No muddy grounds this year presumably since there is a heatwave in Britain now.

Exciting Tokyo

[Tokyo is such an exciting city for anyone from anywhere in the world. It is a mixture of ultra modern and traditional, such as historic temples.

For this city, I have pictures supplied by my friend Ms Kwai Heong on FB. (www.facebook.com/kwai.heong.9) She is also at @kwaiheong on IG. She visited Japan recently.

She captured an amazing set of pictures considering she is deaf or is hearing impaired, I met her in person at a temple a few years ago where she was getting selfies all by herself and we communicated by signing.
